Canada-wide arrest warrants have been issued for two men wanted in the attempted murder of a third man in the Don Mills area earlier this year.

On May 15 just before 3 p.m., Toronto police said officers responded to a call about a man with a gunshot wound in the area of Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue East.

Police allege that the victim and the two suspects got into some sort of verbal altercation. At some point, police said the victim was shot.

The two men were seen fleeing the area in a dark four-door car following the shooting.

The first suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s with light coloured hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.

The second suspect is described as a white male also in his mid-30s with dark hair. He was last seen wearing a jacket and blue jeans.

On Tuesday, police identified the suspects as Toronto residents Anton Camaj, 26, and Aldo Cukali, 44, and issued Canada-wide warrants for their arrest in an attempted murder investigation.

Police said both suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous.
