Alex Arsenych
Alex Arsenych rejoined CTV News Toronto in August 2024 as a multi-platform writer. She first joined the Toronto desk in September 2022 and spent a few months in 2024 as a freelance journalist for the national team.
Her work has also appeared in Narcity Canada, NOW Magazine, Much and MTV Canada. As a generalist, Alex has covered a variety of topics, including crime, housing, travel, health care and LGBTQ2S+ issues.
In 2020, she graduated from Humber College with a bachelor of journalism degree, with honours. Alex also has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Toronto with a double major in history and Spanish.
She speaks English and conversational Spanish.
