A 44-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of his fiancee.

Timothy Turosky, 44, was arrested around 3 p.m. Saturday after police received a call from the family of Charmaine Whitley expressing concern that she had not been heard from.

Whitley, 38, was found unresponsive at a home in Parkplace Circle, police said.

Turosky was arrested without incident and is expected to appear in Bramptom court Sunday.
