A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was shot in the stomach at an apartment building in Rexdale late Wednesday night, Toronto police say.
The shooting occurred during a fight in the building on Tandridge Crescent, near Albion Road and Islington Avenue, at about 11 p.m.
The victim, who is believed to be in his 30s, suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, a Toronto EMS spokesperson told CP24.
He was in serious but stable condition in hospital Thursday morning, a police spokesperson said.
The investigation continues.
