A 20-year-old man has been rushed to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries after a shooting in the city’s east end.
It happened near Pape Avenue and Gerrard Street at around 3 p.m.
According to police, witnesses at the scene heard six gunshots in rapid succession and then saw a man fleeing the area on foot.
An official with EMS said the victim has “very serious” injuries.
No arrests have been made.
