Peel police are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in Mississauga's east end late Monday night.
Police were called to 75 King St. E near Hurontario Street and Dundas Street East after gunshots were reported just before midnight.
Const. Thomas Ruttan says there was an altercation between two men before the shooting.
The injured man was treated at an area hospital and then released.
