A 48-year-old man is missing and is presumed to have drowned Friday evening.
Police were called to Peninsula Resort near Lake Simcoe in the town of Georgina around 7 p.m.
Officials said a man who was not wearing a life jacket was swimming near a boat, when he went under.
Both the York Regional Police Marine Unit along with the South Simcoe Police conducted a search.
