FORT ERIE, Ont. - Provincial police are investigating a fatal crash in Fort Erie.

Police say around 1 a.m. a man driving a GMC Sierra pick-up truck was travelling in the northbound lanes of the Queen Elizabeth Way when, for unknown reasons, he left the roadway and drove into a ditch.

The truck re-entered the highway facing the wrong direction and was struck head-on by a Ford Ranger.

Police say the driver of the Sierra was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver suffered minor injuries and is charged with impaired driving.
