A man was killed in a violent crash late last night in downtown Toronto.
The man was driving a Chrysler sedan eastbound on Villiers Street, just east of Cherry Street, when he slammed into a parked tractor trailer just after 11 p.m. Sunday.
His car immediately burst into flames and became completely engulfed in fire.
Emergency crews pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police say they are not sure what led up to the accident.
Traffic was rerouted around the area while police completed their investigation.
