A 30-year-old man is in serious condition following a stabbing at a church near the Pape and Danforth Avenue area on Sunday afternoon.
Police were called to Calvary Church just after 4:30 p.m. following reports of a serious stabbing in the area.
A man was found suffering from multiple stab wounds to his torso and was rushed to St. Michael’s Hospital.
Police said late Sunday the victim remains in serious condition and is undergoing surgery in hospital.
Officials have taken a man in his mid-20s into custody and say they are not looking for any other suspects.
