A 13-year-old girl has been taken to hospital with a wound to her neck after a report of a stabbing on Tuesday afternoon.
Police said they were called to 88 Broadway Ave., north of Eglinton Avenue near Mt. Pleasant Road, at 4:12 p.m.
A girl called to say that she had an injury to her throat and was bleeding, police said.
The girl was conscious and breathing when EMS arrived.
She was taken to Sick Kids hospital and her wounds are not considered life-threatening.
A 50-year-old man is in custody.
