A man was rendered unconscious after falling from an elevator shaft at an industrial site on Front Street on Tuesday morning.
Police said they received a call about the incident, which took place near the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, at about 11 a.m..
According to Toronto Police Const. Tony Vella, the man was aged between 35 and 45 and was bleeding profusely from his head.
Both police and ambulance are on scene.
