A 30-year-old man has been taken to hospital after he was pinned under a car at an auto repair shop.
The incident happened late Monday afternoon at 1127 Finch Ave. W., near Dufferin Street.
Toronto Fire Service spokesperson Cpt. Dave Eckerman said the victim was conscious and wasn't bleeding when emergency crews arrived.
The victim had been pinned after a car fell from a hoist at the repair shop. By the time emergency workers arrived, employees had taken some of the pressure off of him using a pressure jack, Eckerman said.
The man was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital after he was freed.
