A man in his 60s is dead after he was hit by a vehicle in Mississauga early Friday morning.
The man was walking in the area of Derry Road and Highway 10 at approximately 7:30 a.m., when he was struck by a car.
Paramedics rushed to the scene, but he was pronounced dead shortly after being hit.
The intersection was closed for several hours after the collision as police investigated.
They have not said whether any charges will be laid. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with police.
