TORONTO -- A Toronto man is facing a murder charge in connection with a stabbing death in the city's north end.

Police were called to the area (at Don Mills Road and Van Horne Avenue) at about 9:45 p.m. Sunday for reports of a person with a knife.

Responding officers found a man with without vital signs and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been identified as San Tai Yuan, 56, of Toronto.

A post-mortem examination concluded the cause of death to be sharp-force injuries.

A 43-year-old man is charged with first-degree murder.
