One man is dead after he was pulled from the waters of Lake Ontario overnight.
Officers received a call about the man falling into the water near JC Saddington Park in the area of Lakeshore Road and Mississauga Road early Sunday morning.
The man was then pulled from the water without vital signs about an hour later and rushed to hospital before being pronounced dead.
Another man who had jumped into the water to save the man was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Peel police say there is an indication that the men had been drinking.
An investigation is underway.
