A man was charged Saturday morning in connection with the death of his estranged wife.
Toronto police were called to an apartment on Eglinton Avenue East near Markham Road in Scarborough on Friday evening, where they found the body of 21-year-old Shaher Shahdady.
Shahdady's estranged husband, 27-year-old Abdul Rustam, turned himself into police and has been charged with first-degree murder.
Rustam is set to appear in court on Saturday.
