One man is in custody after a police chase that began in York Region and ended with a car crash in Toronto.
York Region officers began the pursuit on Highway 400, and the chase continued across Highway 401 until it ended with a wreck in the Weston and Lawrence area.
The driver of the suspected stolen car was taken from the scene in an ambulance. His injuries were not immediately known.
One police cruiser also crashed, but the officer was not injured.
