NORTH BAY, Ont. - Provincial police say a 24-year-old Sudbury area man is facing numerous charges arising from an early morning pursuit through North Bay.

Police say the incident began with a report Thursday morning of a possible impaired driver operating a large yellow vehicle.

The truck was located, but officers say the driver fled when they attempted to pull it over.

Police say the driver disobeyed traffic lights and stop signs and crashed through a barrier at the North Bay Regional Health Centre.

The truck went through several barriers on the hospital property and onto Highway 17 where it was finally stopped near a campground west of North Bay.

Jeremy Kieran Munn of Chelmsford faces charges that include impaired operation of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police.
