A group of 24 Bombardier workers will finally receive a portion of a disputed $50 million lottery jackpot, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation announced on Wednesday.

Payment of the Jan. 28 jackpot was delayed after two additional claimants came forward claiming ownership to pieces of the prize.

OLG said on Wednesday that the 24 original claimants will each receive one of 26 shares of the prize – about $1.9 million each.

A court will determine whether the two additional claims on the prize are valid, and distribute the remaining two shares accordingly.

"OLG is pleased to award the 24 group members their share of the jackpot and is confident the courts will ensure all claimants are reviewed and the disputed portion of the prize is paid to the right people," the organization said in a statement.

It is the second recent $50 million jackpot to head to court, after additional claims on a prize won by 19 Bell employees delayed payment.

That group has since received $31.7 million while ownerships of the remainder is debated in court.
