Weapons investigation leads to charges for two men: LPS

Two men have been charged after members of the London Police Service (LPS) responded to a weapons call in the city’s downtown core Wednesday.

At about 4 p.m., three men were allegedly involved in a verbal argument inside of a home in the area of Rogers Avenue and Wharncliffe Road North.

According to police, the three men knew each other.

During the argument, two men threatened and pointed a gun at the third, according to police.

The third man then called 911.

A 20 year old from Wallaceburg was charged with one count of pointing a firearm.

A 21-year-old London man was charged with one count of uttering threats/death or bodily harm.

No physical injuries were reported.
