A lockdown placed on George Brown Campus has been lifted after an incident involving a man with a knife.

Police said they responded to the Casa Loma campus at around 10 a.m. after reports came in about two men fighting.

According to police, one of the men pulled out a knife during the fight.

Const. Victor Kwong described the suspect as a male, brown complexion, in his late teens or early 20s. He has a skinny build and stands approximately five foot eleven inches in height.

The victim sustained a very minor injury to the face and has been attended to.

A police source with the 13 Division told CP24 that the victim and suspects are students but did not know each other prior to the incident.

Kwong said the suspect has not been located but that the investigation is still ongoing.

No arrests have been made.
