The man charged in a brazen daylight shooting in Toronto’s Little Italy briefly appear in court via video on Tuesday.
Dean Wiwchar, 26, made a brief video appearance after being charged with first-degree murder in the death of John Raposo.
Raposo, 35, was shot and killed while watching a Euro Cup game on a College Street patio on June 18.
A second man was struck by gunfire during the public shooting.
Wiwchar has pleaded not guilty to the charge. His lawyer, Christopher Avery, has said his client is shocked by the allegations.
