A massive blaze erupted in the city's east end after three cars caught fire inside an auto body shop, early Monday morning.
The auto body shop and an adjacent banquet hall on Midland Avenue, north of Lawrence Avenue East, caught fire shortly before 5 a.m.
The charred industrial complex also included a custom kitchen shop, which suffered minimal damage.
No injuries were reported in the three-alarm blaze.
Fire officials said the fire was knocked down some time after 6 a.m., but there remained concerns of a possible roof collapse.
