KITCHENER, Ont. - Several hundred mourners filled a church today for a 28-year-old toy store employee gunned down in Kitchener.
About 100 more people crowded outside the packed building to say goodbye to Nadia Gehl. The woman was shot Feb. 2 while waiting for a bus and police continue to hunt for a suspect.
Craig Perry, who works with Gehl's husband Ron Cyr, says there weren't many dry eyes in the church.
Waterloo region police Insp. Steve Beckett says officers are conducting an expanded search for tips, including a mobile canvass Monday that stopped more than 450 cars.
Police still won't say if the shooting was random or targeted.
