THUNDER BAY, Ont. -- A Kitchener, Ont., man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for a northern Ontario homicide has turned himself in.

Police in Thunder Bay, Ont., say the 27-year-old man was one of three people facing kidnapping and first-degree murder charges in the death of 40-year-old Lee Chiodo.

Chiodo's body was found at the side of an isolated roadway in late February.

Investigators have said Chiodo, the city's first homicide of the year, was targeted.

Police have arrested two other local suspects in Chiodo's death, but said the Kitchener resident was still at large.

They say the man surrendered to the Waterloo Regional Police Service early Tuesday morning and will be returned to Thunder Bay to face charges.
