NEWMARKET, Ont. - All the children injured after a school bus rolled over near the northern outskirts of Toronto have been released from hospital.

The children, aged between 10 and 15, were travelling to Toronto from the Beacon Hill Bible Camp in Gravenhurst, Ont., when their chrome yellow bus lurched off the highway and flipped onto its side.

Camp administrator Tom Williams says his staff have been in touch with parents of all the campers who were on the bus.

Williams says he was very thankful no life-threatening injuries were sustained by any of the 33 passengers on board.

He says the driver of the bus is also going to be fine.

Three children and the bus driver were taken to hospital with serious injuries yesterday after the accident occurred on the Highway 9 exit ramp off southbound Highway 400.

Twenty-one other passengers suffered minor injuries, but many were able to walk away from the scene of the accident near Newmarket, Ont.

Police say no other vehicles were involved. They spent much of yesterday afternoon trying to figure out how the bus landed on its side.
