Investigation underway after downtown stabbing

Police are investigating after an early morning stabbing in the city's downtown core.
The incident occurred just after 6:45 a.m., on Wellesley Street East near Parliament Street.
The male victim was stabbed in the chest and transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries, according to Toronto Police Services.
Officers are trying to locate a single suspect, who they say fled the scene.
