A police investigation is underway after an early morning shooting in the city’s west end.
The incident took place on College Street, just east of Bathurst, at about 1 a.m.
Reports indicate a man, who is believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the neck.
The victim was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital without vital signs. At last check, about eight hours after the shooting, he remained in the care of hospital staff.
No arrests have been made yet. Investigators are interviewing witnesses.
