Impaired driving charges are expected after a police cruiser was struck while on the Gardiner Expressway, Monday morning.
Police say the incident occurred in the Gardiner's westbound lanes at Colborne Lodge Drive, south of High Park, shortly after midnight.
The officer was attending a call for a stalled vehicle on the Gardiner when the cruiser was struck from behind. The officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police say impaired driving charges are pending.
