A woman is dead after she was found suffering from hypothermia in a ravine in midtown Toronto.

Melissa Mann, 42, was reported missing on Friday by a family member who had been unable to locate her.

Police searching for Mann then found her in a ravine near Don Mills Road and Eglinton Avenue at around midnight on Saturday.

Mann was not dressed for the weather and was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

The cause of death has been determined to be hypothermia and no further investigation will be undertaken.
