NEWMARKET, Ont. - A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a girl in the 1990s while working as a horse trainer and riding instructor just north of Toronto.
York Regional Police say the girl was a student of the man at the time of the alleged offences between 1991 and 1995 in Vaughan, Ont.
Police say the girl was 12 when the alleged offences started.
Raymond Nitti, 47, of Alliston, Ont., is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, sexual exploitation and invitation to sexual touching.
Nitti has been released from custody and is due in court in Newmarket on Sept. 14.
Investigators want to hear from anyone with information about other alleged victims.
