A homeowner may face charges after a man was stabbed during a break-in early Sunday morning.
Police said that about 4 a.m., they received a call from a man from his apartment on Gulliver Road to report that he had been stabbed.
After an investigation, police determined the man was stabbed during the alleged robbery, which took place nearby at 5 Parson Ct., which is in the Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue West area.
Police said the man, who was in his 30s, suffered non-life threatening wounds. He was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery and is currently in recovery, according to police.
Police charged the homeowner, Moses Mahilal, with aggravated assault.
Police are not sure if the men knew each other and continue to investigate.
