Highway 7 has reopened between Martin Grove Road and Highway 27 in Vaughan following a serious collision earlier this morning.
Police say a man suffered serious injuries after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole while travelling on the highway at around 6:30 a.m.
Emergency crews needed to extricate the man from his vehicle before paramedics rushed him to the hospital.
The highway reopened at around 10 a.m.
