Only one lane of traffic is flowing on Highway 427 southbound after an accident.

Three vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash in the express lanes just south of Bloor Street.

The lanes were apparently blocked horizontally by a tractor-trailer, and the back end of the vehicle appears to be on the highway meridian.

Traffic is backing up, and no vehicles appear to be getting through or diverted. One northbound lane is also being affected.

At least three emergency vehicles were having trouble getting through the traffic to the scene.

Commuters should look for alternative southbound routes, like Islington Avenue.
