HALTON HILLS, Ont. - An 18-year-old man is dead after being hit by a car Thursday in Halton Hills, Ont.
Halton Regional Police said the man was crossing a rural road just before 9 p.m. when he was hit by an Audi driven by a 39-year-old man from Georgetown.
The victim was taken to Hamilton General Hospital and then moved to Milton District Hospital where he died around midnight.
The man driving the Audi wasn't injured.
Police said the weather was clear and dry but the road was dark and there were no apparent witnesses.
Police said the victim's name won't be released until his relatives are notified.
