CORNWALL, Ont. -- A former financial adviser in Ontario is facing multiple charges after a 13-month fraud investigation by police.
Ontario Provincial Police say the man was operating Gilden Financial Solutions Corporation, Harris Wealth Group Inc., and Protector Management Inc.
They say 60-year-old Gilles Remy Saucier of Brampton, and formerly of Cornwall, was arrested on Thursday.
Saucier is facing 17 charges, including seven counts of fraud over $5,000 and seven counts of misappropriation of money held under direction.
Police say he is next set to appear in court on Nov. 17.
