A home in Toronto's tony Forest Hill neighbourhood sold for $2 million over the asking price.
The seller was asking for $9 million for the six-bedroom mansion but it was sold for $11.1 million after a bidding war.
The successful buyer was Melinda Rogers, daughter of communications mogul Ted Rogers. Her father lives down the street as does world-famous pop star Nelly Furtado.
The home, located on Old Forest Hill Road, has six bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as a swimming pool.
