WELLAND, Ont. - A total of five people now face arson charges in a $775,000 blaze at a high school in Welland, Ont.

Aaron Sherry, 25, and a youth were charged with arson on Thursday, a day after three other youths were arrested and charged.

The June 18 fire had fully engulfed Welland Secondary School by the time firefighters arrived at the building.

The blaze forced the evacuation of residents on neighbouring streets while firefighters brought it under control.

An investigation by the Fire Marshal's Office determined that the fire was the result of arson.

Niagara regional police say their investigation into the fire is continuing.
