Police are investigating an apparent homicide in south Etobicoke.
Det.-Const. Tony Vella of the Toronto Police Service told ctvtoronto.ca on Wednesday that police are investigating an incident on Coin Street near Islington Avenue and Lake Shore Boulevard West.
Police found a 72-year-old man dead inside an apartment, the victim of what they call "obvious trauma."
The man's name is being held pending notification of family.
A post-mortem examination was to be conducted on Thursday.
This is the city's 68th homicide of 2008.
