Three teens and an adult are in police custody after a series of early morning raids on Thursday by the Toronto police.

Authorities released few details about the raids but said that the teens who were placed under arrest are between 15 and 19 years of age.

Two loaded handguns, a quantity of marijuana and about $50,000 were seized as a result of three search warrants that were executed in Toronto's Regent Park neighbourhood.

The raids took place at around 5 a.m. in the Shuter and River Streets area.

Another pre-dawn raid in the west end of Toronto resulted in seven people being arrested.

Police say they found cocaine, a large sum of cash and a loaded handgun.
