Police have identified an Oshawa man who was murdered early Friday morning as Derrick Brooks.
Brooks, 32, was found around 5 a.m. at a home on Ritson Road North in Oshawa. His body showed signs of trauma, police said.
Another man, a 32-year-old from Peterborough, is recovering from serious injury.
Several suspects were seen fleeing the residence.
An autopsy has not yet been performed.
