The owner of a Toronto donut shop is facing charges of selling marijuana to his customers.

Police say they seized 3.22 grams of crack cocaine and 219 grams of marijuana, packaged and ready to sell. They said they also seized crime proceeds of $25,000.

The suspect is also accused of purchasing stolen food items from one of his customers.

Detectives began investigating after receiving a tip that customers were buying crack cocaine and marijuana at a Coffee Time Donut Shop in the Queen and Sherbourne Streets area.

They arrested a suspect Wednesday.

Toronto-resident Paul Karathanasis, 46, is charged with four drug-related offenses and one count of possession of stolen property.
