Death of person found near pool in Toronto's east end deemed suspicious by police

TORONTO -- Toronto police say they are investigating after a body was found near a pool in the city's east end.

Police say a passerby spotted the body at around 10:45 p.m. on New Year's Day.

Investigators say the death appears to be suspicious.

They say they're waiting for an autopsy.
