Crash in Etobicoke leaves 1 driver dead: police

One person is dead following a two-vehicle collision in Etobicoke on Tuesday morning.

According to police, an eastbound Nissan and a westbound transport truck collided in the area of Alboin Road and Claireport Crescent just after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.

Police said the male driver of the Nissan was pronounced dead at the scene.

Toronto police's Traffic Services Unit asks anyone with information to contact investigators at 416-808-1900.
