COLLINGWOOD, Ont. - Up to a dozen homeowners in Craigleith have been told they should leave their homes after a mudslide in the Collingwood area.

Ontario Provincial Police Const. Martin Hachey says the mudslide began Wednesday night, then seemed to stop.

But, he says, it was on the move again by Thursday night.

He says the evacuation may become mandatory if heavy rain hits the area.

A few homes on Arrow Head Crescent were already evacuated Wednesday when the hillside gave way near the Alpine Private Ski club.

Provincial police have also closed two roadways.
