A 65-year-old Toronto priest at has been charged with possessing child pornography.
Police found pornographic videos and photographs of children between the ages of five and 17 during a search at the man's home on Thursday.
The accused is a priest at St. Andrew's parish of the Ontario Old Roman Catholic Church in the Bloor Street East and Sherbourne Street area.
The Ontario Old Roman Catholic Church broke away from the established church in 1870 at the same time as the first Vatican Council.
Frederick Patrick Dunleavy, of Toronto, is charged with possession of child pornography.
He is to appear at the College Park courts on March 20.
