A 24-year-old Catholic Brother has been charged with four child pornography offences following an investigation by the Toronto police child exploitation unit.
The accused was arrested Monday after becoming the subject of an undercover police investigation that targeted people involved in the alleged Internet downloading of child pornography.
Brother Adley Lobo, a Franciscan Brother, has been affiliated with both St. Francis Friary in Caledon and St. Lawrence Martyr Church in Toronto.
He was to appear in court on Monday charged with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count each of making child pornography and making child pornography available.
