Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for a 22-year-old Brampton, Ont. man accused of attempted murder.

Peel Regional Police allege that on May 21 the accused was involved in an altercation at a residence in Brampton shortly before noon.

During the incident, police say a person was stabbed in the chest and struck in the head with a hammer. The accused fled the scene before police arrived.

Police are looking for O'Neil King, also known by his street name of "Flex." He is described as a black man who stands at five-feet, eight inches tall. Authorities say he is about 160 lbs with black hair in corn rows with a small scar on his forehead and a tattoo of a five-point crown on his left hand.

Investigators consider King to be armed and dangerous and warn anyone who may see him not to approach, and instead call 911.
