WEST LINCOLN, Ont. - A 10-year-old boy is in hospital after being run over by an ATV at a family gathering southwest of Hamilton.
Police say a woman riding an ATV on Monday night swerved to avoid another child on a trail and accidentally ran over the boy, who was laying down in tall grass.
The boy was airlifted 40 kilometres to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.
He is in stable condition.
Police want to hear from witnesses.
